Another very nice warm sunny morning. And we gonna had a few more very hot sunny days here looking at temps to 32C (90F) then to 34c (feelings like 100f). Not a problem for me, just drink plenty of fluids and enjoy the shade. After the early walkabouts I headed into Buckhorn to the farmer's market at the community centre. Well it's more like a craft show at this time of year, not many crops harvested yet to sell.
And these wonderful maple tree there right in front if it I am always amazed at these Maple Leaves.
so beautiful |
inside the Centre lots of crafts and bakery stuff |
local Maple Syrup, love it, but we have a good supply |
And ran across our good friend Monique, relaxing between sales doing a brisk business selling some of her amazing photography.
Monique before she spotted me |
Love this wax, wipe on, wipe off for an amazing shine. Pretty well all done before lunch except for one small corner that I am waiting for the afternoon shade.
love the shine it gives |
I even took few minutes to polish the headlights and license plate on the car |
Got some wonderful reading time in too while doing a load of laundry and back under the shade with a nice breeze.
Then got called to our neighbors for happy hour. Can't miss that, now can we?we can always take time out for Happy Hour |
Tonight a turkey breast on our Weber Q 100. Just preheat and set it on there a bit more than an hour and was so tasty and moist. Lotsa leftovers too, lunches etc, and more bones in the freezer for a big pot of soup soon.
Added to our salad and I made a bit of cranberry sauce that was perfect with the turkey. I had some frozen whole cranberries in the freezer, and is so easy to make.
Now to just relax out side read for a while enjoying another wonderful summer evening, what's not to love about that?
done perfectly |
so tasty and love the fresh made cranberry sauce too |
Glad that y'all took the time to stop on by and hope your summer weather is as great as ours.

DeleteI'm curious as to what you both read. Give us a clue, please. Reading is a big part of life for me, long as the eyes hold out. Ah, I'm thinkin' I could use a Weber Q...maybe. Sandwiches get old after awhile. You and Susie sure eat healthy. Yummy.
ReplyDeleteMostly fiction, Baldacci,Barclay, Lee Child, Connelly, Harlem Coben, Leslie Glass, J.A.Jance, James Patterson, stuart Woods, etc...any good detective , mystery books we usually read quite a few every week.
