A pretty warm humid morning to start our day, started with a nice early walkabout, at 7 am chat with a couple people, more coffee, showers, secure our coach and heading out shortly after 9 o'clock.A wonderful sunrise out our Kitchen window, gets me inspired to get outside.
This neighbour beside us loves to spend most of his day like this, a beautiful Greyhound. I know he would love to run, but nowhere around here for him to do that. So he may as well nap.
Not too far to go today about 90 miles, taking the back roads a nice leisurely drive into the city of Aurora. Park in my cousins drive and visit with them for a catchup this afternoon, then she made us a wonderful supper. Two marinated pork tenderloins on their BBQ and a salad. I made up a nice batch of sweet potatoes, with apple, brown sugar and cinnamon to go with it. For the sweet potato recipe click here or my recipe blog top right sidebar.nice quiet roads, no traffic |

Was wonderful that y'all took the time to stop by and hope you are doing well with the wonderful heatwave we are having. Lotsa water and keep cool, 32c here feels like 36C (98f). All is good here.

Nothing better than having your own bed when visiting relatives. Can't tell you how many times we've been offered a "real bed" for the night when we're traveling in our MH. My bed in the MH is a real as one can get! ;c)
ReplyDeleteWe have had the same thing as well, stay in a "Real Bed" This is our home and the bed as real as it gets. We love taking our house with us wherever we go.
DeleteI agree with Paul. We've had folks ask us stay at their place instead of our RV. They just don't realize we prefer our own. I guess it's a hard thing for others to understand.
ReplyDeleteIt is a hard things some people to understand, at least us rv'ers understand and know what its like. We have out own space and it feels so good.
DeleteAlways interesting and revitalizing with a move and it doesn't have to be over hundreds of miles.
ReplyDeleteWe love being on the move,we have wheels that love to be turning, like you said we don't have to go far to enjoy new scenery.
DeleteLooking forward to seeing the bus back here.. Take care and enjoy your travels.. Pat Norm and B.
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun visiting with you guys there, as you know we plan to be back there late August.
DeleteWe've been doing a lot of family driveways too and many offer their guest bedroom. No thank you. Only full-timers understand. We are the best house guests though because we bring our home with us. I know the real reason you didn't overstay your welcome and went home at 8PM LOL
ReplyDeleteYes like you said, we are the best guests, we bring our house with us.
DeleteOh you peeking in the windows?? LOL...
Sometimes the air conditioning is necessary just to get relief and that is okay because we have it! I love our 'real bed' too in the rv, it's ours and we sleep great! Your potatoes and apple recipe sounds wonderful, will have to try it for sure!
ReplyDeleteIt is rare that we use our AC , but in the heat of the city it is sometimes needed.
DeleteThe recipe is real good, I am sure you will love it !
What lovely weather over there... We're having winter in July, cold, wet and miserable. Oh well, nothing we can do about it...
ReplyDeleteYou are right, we take what is dished out to us. And enjoy it no matter what.
