What a wonderful day, doing nothing!

Where are we today ?
What did we do today? Not too much. Nothing broken, nothing to fix and nowhere to go, so lets take advantage of it. Did not feel like washing and waxing our coach, did not feel like the gym or even a swim and soak in the hot tub. So did what we felt like nuttin.
Between walkabouts chatting with people we have not seen for a long time and meeting new people too. Chatted with Wray and Liz Taylor and met their friends. A dairy farmer with a first year camping and new 5th wheel trailer. And they happen to know Suzie's brother and sister in law as well as Suzie's sister, small world it is!
Ron came by with Freddie and Suzie got her doggie fix
They are fixing up the roads here after the heavy rains, for tar and chips, keep the dust down.
most of the roads and in front of our coach
We walked the whole resort at least once and saw these two young girls catching fish in the pond. Catch and release, they were having a great time.
nice park model backing onto the pond
Then a bit further along we found the two Goose families. Still ten babies that are close to fullgrown, could not tell the adults from the babies anymore. Wonder when they leave home?
Also spotted this cool looking quadcycle car at Melinda and Gerrie's place.
nice
Eventually we did find some time to do a bit of reading before I fired up our Weber Q.
Tonight a couple homemade turkey burgers, and grilled some fresh mushrooms and onions on my seasoned cast iron grill, added some cheese and a green salad, did the trick.
yep did the trick
Thanks for stopping in again and hope you had wonderful relaxing day too

    1. I like to cook as much as possible on the grill, makes things much easier.

  7. I love these do nothing days, George. A leisurely breakfast, read and check out what's on the PVR. These days recharge the batteries!

    1. Recharging is great for the mind, body and soul, not much tv for us, good books are the top of our list.

  8. Sounds like it was a perfect southern Ontario day. Doing nothing is OK too! No repairs makes for an even better day.
