Saturday wonderfully hot and sunny.

Where are we today ?
Just more sunshine and much warmer day today= perfect! Got the coffees, computing and a few walkabouts done then over to help Bill with some blogger issues he was having.
The Goose familes sure are at home here
Bill and I played with this for a couple hours giving him some pointers, while Suzie chatted with Pat and played with Clemson, their puppy.
Before we knew it time for lunch. A treat for us today, some Cinnamon Bacon we bought at Swiss meats in Missouri and couple eggs on our Weber Q we enjoyed a very tasty bacon and egg sandwich.
Now thats done we have a nice cool shady spot here to enjoy our books for a while. Then I got ambitious and headed to the gym for a bit of a workout a but on the amazing machines. When I came back Rich and Marylou had stopped by for a nice visit and we chatted for a while.

But we had to wander over to Bill and Pat's at 3:30 for a preplanned "Social Hour", took Rich and Marylou along to meet them as well. The more the merrier!

Hour or so was done so time to wander back home and whip up some fish tacos and my version of spanish rice for supper. Had a craving and this sure took care of it.
toppings for the tacos
pretty tasty
After supper the Water wars wagon ride
A little more reading after supper, couple people dropped by to chat then too dark to read outside anymore. Guess we head inside and call it a night.

Perfect weather for a perfect weekend, thanks for stopping by again and hope you have an amazing Sunday.

  1. I certainly understand the slow internet and problems with pictures. Some blogs I read have lots of pictures and at times those pictures mean I can barely read the blogs let alone see any of the photos. It does make it difficult for sure.

  2. That Swiss meat looks like it would be worth a trip into Missouri just to go there. You are lucky you pass by in your travels. Man, that bacon looks good.

  6. I also like the fish taco idea. We buy tilapia filets and loins so must try the filets in this style. Bill isn't into the Mexican food but with the fish, maybe I can convince him. He loves fish. Thanks for the tip! It was so great to see you guys again, you're right time sure does fly when we're having fun. Plus I'm so glad Clemson got over his shyness with Suzie and has given her a few welcome to my world licks! :)

    1. We used Tilapia, but enjoy Basa fillets even more on tortillas, with chopped tomato, onions, lettuce, cucumber, mild salsa, jalapeños peppers for me and some sour cream, very tasty.
