New kitchen faucet installed then moving on down the road.

Where are we today ?
Rock Glen Resort Arkona Ontario
Very nice, sunny, warm morning. Love it, close to 70 f (21c) at 6 am. Got my computing, coffees and walkabout done, chat with the guys at the garage then home by 8:30 to begin installing our new kitchen faucet. Pretty easy, just needed to run to the Home Hardware in town and Len fixed me up with an adapter fitting to make it all go together, than install the faucet. Took longer to empty the cupboards, get the fitting and put it all together. Looks and works much better now.
old one on the left
looks and works better,
a Moen is the best as far as I am concerned
By the time this was done the rain was beginning so we had bite to eat for lunch while waiting for the heavy rain to subside.
wound up the extension cord, put away at house
and the rains began again
By 1 pm it let up a bit so we finished hooking up and hit the road. Only about a 90 minute drive, but we sure hit some very heavy rain and winds for a few minutes. Nice to be on the back roads with no traffic and just take our time.
very heavy rain though the pic does not show it
soon the skies cleared and the sun was shinning.
Checked into Rock Glen Resort and found our favorite site vacant again. So we pulled in and kinda got stuck. Backing in to where we almost wanted to be and we began to side sideways. No point making it worse, we will just stop right here and set up. It will be dry enough to get out when we leave here in a couple weeks.
kinda muddy from our coach
Now all set up we can relax for a while and enjoy the sun, gonna get cooler tonight.
a little crooked but we don't mind.
Shortly after 5, fired up our Weber Q100 to grill a couple Haddock fillets and the last of our fresh asparagus, added the last of our fresh mushrooms as well.
notice, product of Canada, not China
Added that to some lettuce, kale, pasta salad, coleslaw, beans and a few strawberries.
sure hit the spot
Just as we were finishing supper, the clouds came in and the skies opened up, very heavy  rain. Lasted about 15 minutes, sun came back out and we had a very enjoyable evening outside to get some relaxing reading done, post my blog too.
very heavy rain
Enough sun to read until about 9 pm then inside to call it a night.
It was a productive, fun day being on the road again, with challenging weather, even if not too far.
So that was it for us looking forward to just hanging out here for a while taking it easy. Work out in the gym, swim in the pool, soak in the hot tub and enjoy our books. Of course our favorite Fleamarket on Sunday too. Might just wash and wax our coach too, if the spirit moves me.
         Thanks for joining us today.

  1. If you wash and wax the coach you'll bring more rain.
    Nice job on the faucet.

    1. Thanks, it can rain all it wants as long we aren't on the road to get it dirty again.

  2. I certainly hope you have everything fixed in your coach that needs fixing. It's about time you took a break from repairs.

  3. Nice fix in your kitchen! Best thing to do is let the rig sit and have the ground dry up...you will get out.

  5. I agree Moen is the best, that was what we switched to when our original tap did the same as yours.

    1. I always put Moen's in my various houses over the years, no problems after that.

  6. As I get older, it gets harder to squeeze in under the sink to do those jobs.

    1. It is a little harder to get down there, but still doable.

  7. Nice job on the taps, they look great! Yesterday was a craaazzzy day for sure! Rain, sun, storm, clearing, downpour etc etc etc. Today a bit cooler but I'll be inside all day so it doesn't affect me. Nice to see you settled at R.G. again, see you soon!

  8. I really like your third shot, even in the rain. It's no wonder you guys stay thin and healthy eating all that fish and healthy sides - at least most of the time.

    1. The third shot was at what we call "Camp Awesome" a friends place we stay at in Plattsville.
The healthy eating "most of the time" works, especially when I make it myself.
Need to take care of ourselves, nobody else will.
