Mon. Dec. 26. Boxing Day?

Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

 Where are we Today ?

In Canada the day after Christmas is a Holiday and its called Boxing Day. In the USA its called the day after Christmas (makes sense to me). Its very much like Black Friday in the United States (the day after Thanks Giving) where all the stores have huge sales and people line up for hours to get perceived bargains. Well we don't do the big sale things, where would we put a 60 inch tv, love seats, sofas, dinning room suites, more clothes, washers and dryers, computers, etc, etc.... But we do have our own boxing day, put the Christmas tree in a box, the decorations in a box, empty the box of beer and put a box of garbage in the dumpster, and if we have any clothes we don't use any more take them to the Goodwill box.

Thats our boxing day, and it was wonderful, more blue skies and sunshine and very warm. We will take all we can get of this stuff.

Suzie got the dusting and vacuuming done, I checked the tires, dumped our tanks and stowed the hoses, we are on the road in the morning and like to keep one step ahead of things. Now we can relax and read (after a few walkabouts too), again we are moving between the sun and the shade, where do we sit? decisions decisions.....
Now while we are sitting and enjoying our books Dave and Sharon dropped by and a bit later so did Chuck and Judy, both couples we had met at the clubhouse the two previous nights, just wanted to make sure they said goodbye before we left in the morning and exchange contact cards and email addresses so we can keep in touch. Also Sharon wanted make sure that I got the picture she had taken of our fun loving group. Thanks Sharon.
yep we got it and I am in it too!
Then as the day was winding down I fired up our grill, threw on a couple taters in foil with onions, a couple pork chops, some fresh steamed broccoli and a fresh potato bun for dinner, just hit the spot. Oh have I said how much I just love our Weber Q-100 grill? Probably quite a few times right?

Now just another wonderful warm sunny day under our belts, the sun is setting later every day and we can retire, relax, read, compute and discuss our busy day. Maybe even turn on the TV so it can watch me sleep.
