Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,

Monday morning and its hot sticky and windy. Walkabouts the resort, coffee and computing. The weather forecast says we are gonna have some severe weather, no problem thou we have the local tv channels that constantly interrupt regular programming. And flash the storm updates across the screen, and we do have a secure building to go to if the need arises.
So today we just puttered around chat with neighbors, I went to town to do a little shopping, it was very windy just driving the car. Back home to sit outside with our books, too windy to put up our awning but the breeze kept things comfortable and the fast moving clouds kept giving shade.
We were gonna BBQ supper tonight but the winds were a bit strong for that so we heated up the left over lunch that Suzie had the other day at Lamberts Cafe (home of the throwed rolls). I mentioned they were huge meals, below is what was left over after she could not eat anymore. It is liver, onions mashed potatoes, gravy and baby carrots, I added a few peas and a couple of sliced mushrooms and we had supper for the two of us. Liver is not every ones favourite, I found that out in my restaurant over the years, either you love it or hate it (we both love) it was a great selling special.

So now as I am posting this Tues. morning the sun is shinning, not a cloud in the sky and no wind, such a beautiful day!

Glad you managed to miss the real bad weather. It is quite windy here today.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a huge meal to have had that much in leftovers. Certainly makes the price of the meal even more reasonable.
