Where are we today ?
We comfy cozy here, just doing what we can here and there. Got my computing done before the sunrise this morning. Then a nice early morning country drive as the sun is rising, to Plattsville and chat with the guys at the Garage for a bit.Now fresh air and a clear head back to New Hamburg, Suzie and her Dad are up and ready to move again with a new day. I made their lunches for the day and they off to Stratford hospital to visit Suzie's ma. I Puttered around checked out the dryer here that, did not seem to be working properly, but seems to be ok.
Couple errands in town then to the RV, picked up a few things there and grabbed our Weber Q, we are having separation anxieties ya know.
Back home to the house enjoy a nice hot shower and whip up supper. Tonight a rice pilaf, salad and quick fried smoked pork chops did the trick.

I love your attitude! You sure make the best of it all... and damned if you don't make the best of meals too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon, it is what it is and we can complain or have a good time, we choose to have a good time! And really enjoy life, wherever we go.
DeleteSpending time with the grand kids may be the silver lining here.
ReplyDeleteYes you are right, this will be a bonus.
DeleteI'm glad that every thing is working out for you even though it's not quite what you planned. Just think ... spring is just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what things will come together.
DeleteHad no idea when we went off the road in 2008 it would be 6 1/2 years before we would head South again. So we understand what you mean. We are enjoying your blog. learning a lot about Canada and the winters through our blogger friends eyes.

ReplyDeleteOk yeah still have not lost the feeling of winter driving, its like riding a bike.
DeleteIt tried to snow here a bit earlier this evening, but gave up. I'm not dissapointed.
ReplyDeleteDid not amount to much here either.
DeleteNice to see that despite all your winter escapes over the last few years you still remember how to drive on those icy, snowy roads!
ReplyDeleteGood that you're able to see the grandsons playing hockey, they appreciate your being there and interested in their lives.
