Where are we today ?
Carrying on the roadtrip. First map was yesterdays travels to where stayed at Apache Palms Rv resort in Tempe AZ. This morning we were up at 2:30am to get Suzie to the airport for 4 am checkin.278 miles saturday |
And wandered along heading east. Stopped in Benson Walmart for a couple things a stretch and a walkabout. But I was getting weary, stopped at every rest area, made a bite for lunch about noon hoping to get to El Paso Texas today. Only another 100 miles but could just not do it. I need to get home in one piece.
325 miles today |
just cruising along I-10 |
don't like to see that |
I also researched weather forecasts and routes that I can take back home. My original route was across I-10 through DFW and Little Rock Arkansas. Weather going that way does not look good at all. So plan B follow 1-10 all the way to Louisiana winterize our coach then head straight north from there. At this point a much safer drive.
While puttering around I whipped up a bite for supper, not Weber Q right now. So made a nice shake and bake chicken breast with Panko bread crumbs. and a salad, sure did the trick.
yummy |
We would also like to thank everyone for the comments and well wishes, that means so much to us.
