Where are we today ?
Cold last night but only down to 22f, got a good sleep so raring to go when the sun came up and hit the road about 7:30 this morning.
Todays travel only 331 Miles |
Nice sunrise and ready to go |
dump station in the rest area |
Then on to Chattanooga TN. Moving down the road following I-75 through Knoxville TN. about another dozen miles to Heiskell TN.
Pulled off here and fuelled up at the Pilot Station (Good Sam discount 3 cents a gallon) $1.90.9 then down the road for a mile to check in to this Park below. Another Good Sam discount with taxes pull through $25.00 a night 30 amp and water. Don't need sewer as I have winterized our coach and right across from the washrooms.

Oh you are really making time! And still having great meals as well... what can I say? Hope Ohio treats you good, but talked with family there today... bad weather. Anyway... safe travels and take care.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon, gotta eat so why not have a good meal? I am watching the weather on I-75 should be not too bad.
DeleteDon't say only 331 miles, that is really good.
ReplyDeleteAfter some very long days this was a piece of cake, only 2 slightly longer days to go.
ReplyDeleteYour body must be going nuts with all the time changes it is going through. I can't wait till you get home and can chill with Suzie! Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till I get home too.
DeleteStopping at three in the sunshine! What a treat. I know you will be happy to be home in spite of the intervening weather. take care.
ReplyDeleteWill sure will be nice, was a good travel day, I don't want to get some place thats not open.
DeleteTake it easy up there when you hit the less than stellar weather.... A lot of us are watching you to make sure you get on home without any problems... I too have traveled with the motorhome winterized and getting over the the shower house every time you need to is a pain...
ReplyDeleteI will be taking it easy when I get where I need to be.
DeleteBut at least its do able, better than no shower.
Sounds like the weather is cooperating for you. It may be cold but there is no ice or snow on the highways. I hope it stays that way for you.
ReplyDeleteSo do I crossing my fingers.
DeleteGlad for another good travel day George! Soon you'll be home with the trip behind you. You'll do fine no matter the weather - enjoy the ride - you are a very good road traveler :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the travelling, just not so much on slippery roads, driving our house.
DeleteSo sad you have to drive back home alone. Be careful when you get into winter country.
ReplyDeleteI will be very careful thanks Peter.
DeleteBrrr and gonna get worse. Thought I'd send this along for you rotisserie chicken reading pleasure.

Oh yeah awesome, thank Larry.
DeleteIt struck me after scanning a couple of your posts thta you seemed to be heading NORTH, so I went back and read some I had missed. Sorry to hear home circumstances have cut your Southern sojourn short this season. Good Luck. Hope all works out.
ReplyDeleteWell these things happen sometimes, life gets in the way of having fun.
DeleteThank for catching up.
Thank you so much appreciated.
