Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August. 2006
This morning having our coffee, looking out the front window of our coach watching the sun rise and the morning mist lifting from the fields. Its going to be a beautiful day. I put our Thanksgiving turkey in the oven to precook it for monday, then went to New Hamburg for a few supplies. Being such a nice warm sunny day I got the hose out and washed the coach again. We then had lunch, pack up the coach and I took it to Pettigrew's garage in Plattsville.
camp Pettigrew
Here at camp Pettigrew (as we call it) Dale did an oil change and checked everything over getting us ready for our winter migration. While we are in town for the night it seemed fitting to walk down the street to Pecks, the local sports bar for some wings and beer. And as usual we ran into a few of the local people from the village we have not seen for years. Never the same people there every time we go, so we can catch up with various different people in town just by dropping by. Afterwards a nice stroll down the main street back home.main st. Plattsville
Now Plattsville has a population of about 1,000 people and last saturday there was a spaghetti diner fund raiser for Andy in town who needed and operation available in Costa Rica. There was $14,800.00 raised in this small community. Gotta love a small town.Visitor Number
