Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August. 2006
Another nice fall day, but a bit cool when I have to wear long pants, shoes, socks, and a light jacket. If the sun came out for a few minutes it was quite warm , but mostly cloudy and quite cool. The some of the leaves colours are changing and quite scenic in a few places.
I stopped to visit Mike, Trish, Jordan and their friend Cathy. They had purchased 2 Maxair vent covers for the roof of their trailer and today was they day to install them. So I got my drill and a few tools and supervised Mike. And he did a great job saving the high priced labour cost of a dealer installing them.

After lunch we finished off our spring cleaning project that had been so rudely interrupted by a black water flood, hence a day of steam cleaning our carpets and upholstery. We finished washing the walls, cupboards and ceiling then polished all the wood work (and there is a lot of it) in our coach. Beer 30 happened around 3:30 today to relax in the sun and read a bit , socialize with Mike and Trish, then an early supper of sausage in a jar , and left over mac and ham casserole. Then about 6:00pm friends of ours Randy and Gail pulled in and setup next to us with their nice shinny (new to them) coach. After hellos and greetings, we set up our propane fire pit under the awning and chatted for few hours, nice to catch up.
