Friday morning and all is well, cool and damp fall weather, with Halloween in the air. This is the big weekend at this campground for families and children. Lots of kids and adult activities, Halloween theme is all around us with people decorating their sites and the campground filling up. Even the moon had a scary halloween feel to it.
After our morning coffees Suzie and I went for a nice drive around the area with a stop at Walmart for a few items. Back home a walkabout the campground and a few rays of sun once in a while. Shortly after 4:pm our friends Barb and Bill arrived, and Barb started a nice fire to warm things up a bit. We chatted for a while while they waited for their son and grandson to arrive from Rochester. It was getting late so we decided on the Country Roadhouse Inn for their friday Fish Fry. The place was busy but only a short wait was needed for us 5 adults and a high chair. With fresh buns and a beverage we ordered the special and our large portions of delicious, steaming hot n crispy fish and chips arrived.
Now after our tummies were filled back to the resort, only one mile away. We reawakened the campfire to warm the campground when John and Wendy finally arrived to add to the mix of stories and jokes that seem to flow around so easily. Before we knew it was very late and we were getting tired so off to bed to re-energize our systems for another day.
