Little Brave Hockey Tournament in Plattsville!

Where are we today ?

New Hamburg Ontario Canada

     Now today we are back in New Hamburg again after a hockey tournament in Niagara Falls for grandson number 2. A fun couple days with daughter number one and her family. Previous 2 postings will tell you about that fun, if your did not read it.
     So today first game at 9 am . In the Plattsville Little Brave tournament. Basically runs all this week. Grandson Number 4 is playing 3 games today.

      This first game was amazing we all there Me, Suzie, all the grandpas and grandmas 3 each (its complicated). We all enjoyed this great game. Where his team won 5-1 and he scored 3 of the goals!

      Over at 10 am and next game at 1. So I took Suzie back home, we had lunch and she took her dad to the hospital.

         Then I am back for the 1 o'clock game, not quite so lucky this time they were defeated 5-1.
         And another game at 3pm defeated again 5-0 but they did have fun times, played 3 different teams.

          By 4 pm we are done and so is Suzie back with her Dad. But we can't go back to the house yet, a last minute showing until 5:30pm. So I picked her up we decided to just go around the corner to The Pub Waterloo Arms. Wing night and special on a pitcher of Bud Light. Both things that we enjoy but have been avoiding, but again another emergency situation right? At least I had some veggies.

         But this eating out has to stop, loosing control of our healthy eating habits when we go out, best done when I cook at home. Temptation is not there and we do enjoy our quiet times at home.

         That was a fun hockey day with the grands. 

         And Suzie starting first thing too, all day with her Dad, and sister at the hospital with their mom.

         But hey the sun is shining, family time, temps a bit warmer, snow and ice is melting and spring only another day away!
