Wow what a change in the weather! The weekend began friday with very hot humid sunny weather with temperatures as high as 46c (110f) with the humidex, now today we get up and its cool overcast and rainy, the high's today did almost reach 18c (65f), just a real yucky day.
Its the final day of Labor Day weekend and people are packing up their wet tents, clothes, mats, lawn chairs and awnings. We have had a great hot summer, perfect for camping, beaches, outdoor activities and relaxing in the shade but now the weather is saying enough of this, its rainy and cool everybody back to work!
We watched everyone leaving from the comfort of our coach while it drizzled and rained all day long. A few walkabouts, saying goodbye to some new acquaintances, computing, research, chatting and enjoying our books. Its been a long time since we had a rain day and we really enjoyed it. Now the resort looks pretty empty and is very quiet until then next long weekend.
So not a lot done other than enjoying a peaceful day, for supper I fired up our Weber Q 100 and made some shake and bake chicken, baked potatoes and corn on the cob for a nice tasty supper, then read some more and watch a movie on tv winding down a great Labour day weekend.
