Where are we today ?
Another awesome day under our belt! Sunshine nice warm weather and the day just slipped on by. Early morning had a bunny wander by our site and just happened to grab a pic of him (or her).
Then after a few walkabouts went to town to pick up an apple for supper. Ended up with a nice T-bone steak, 4 pork chops and a pound on hamburg all half price. Just love these sales thats how we stock up our freezer. Now back home chat with a few neighbors and a quick bite for lunch. Packaged the meat for freezing and kept this awesome T-bone steak out for supper.
Next the plan is I can relax with Suzie outside in the shade and enjoy our books for a while.
Then as usual I have to do stuff (can't sit and read all afternoon).Have a shower, read for a while. Then putter around, (polish the headlights on our coach), read for a while.

Love those headlights! You sure do a nice job on the grill.
ReplyDeleteHeadlights turned out good again. Twice a year to keep the looking good.
DeleteJust love cookin on that grill, that's what Suzie hired me for over twenty years ago!
I always check the "reduced" price ANYTHING when I go grocery shopping. I've gotten some great deals and love to say the extra money! :-)
ReplyDeleteOMG, the steak looks amazing!
It was an amazing steak too.
DeleteGo to town for "a" apple! Luckily you found some bargains on the meat otherwise that would have been one expensive apple when you consider the price of gas.
ReplyDeleteWe were lucky enough to get some meat on sale yesterday too! The little freezer is pretty full now.
Your steaks looked delicious, BTW!

Gas here $112.7 a liter, car does 6 liters/100kms, 5 kms to town, fuel cost= .56 cents. With the meat bargains saved $14.40
DeleteThe steak was very delicious.
I love the barbecue. We use ours more often than not too.
ReplyDeleteThe barbecue works well when we can live outside year round.
DeleteYou sound like me shopping...go to the store for three things, come home with twenty. I, too, can't pass up a bargain.
ReplyDeleteStrawberry shortcake....yum---my!
I buy the bargains but only if it something we can use. Its been a while but the strawberries looked so good (on sale too!)
DeleteHappy hour and BBQ-my kind of day:)
ReplyDeleteWorks for us too!
