Yummy dinner, love my salmon. A beautiful statue to depict the name of the town. One day I would like to spend a week on a houseboat.
ReplyDeleteHouseboats can be fun, and the salmon is awesome.
DeleteRecipe is under recipe tab at the top , Salmon and dill Sauce
ReplyDeleteI adore fresh salmon, and can't wait until I travel this summer to the Pacific Northwest. I don't carry a grill with me in my little Toyota Dolphin RV (no room :-( ) but I have a grill thingy that fits over one of the burners on the stove. Can I come over for dinner? ;-)
ReplyDeleteSure if you in the area stop by for diner. We love salmon too. The grill thingy on the burner works pretty good too. Just gave mine to my daughter the Weber took over its job.
DeleteLove that little lake area. Looks like you're in a great spot with nice weather too.
ReplyDeleteThat little lake area is part of the Trent Canal system 240 miles long.
DeleteYou know, I can never think of what to fix for supper, and I have come to realize that I just need to check your blog for ideas! Of course, it wouldn't be as perfect as yours, but I do have the WeberQ on the porch just in case.
ReplyDeleteWe keep a variety of things in the freezer that we like so we have choices as the cravings hit.
DeleteMine is not always perfect, but still taste pretty good.
Use that Weber Q more, its fun.
Eldy thinks Weber grills are THE best, no matter what model you get! He's got his eye on a Weber 310 big standing grill if we ever come off the road. Maybe Sparky will cook more if we had a better grill than the little charcoal one we have now. HA!
ReplyDeleteThe charcoal is nice but the Weber gas is much more convenient and easy to use.
DeleteSparky needs a Q 100 and she can teach Eldy how to use it!
He be grilling up a storm.
Then get the large one when to settle down, Can never have too many Webers is you have the space.
Son-in-law got a Weber Genesis natural gas last year and it gets used all the time now.
What a nice spot you are in and yes, fresh salmon...not farm raised...is my absolute favorite thing to eat along with avocado salad!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day you two. Enjoy the weather!
Not farm raised and was BC salmon, frozen but still excellent.
DeleteSince we live in the Salmon capital of the world, I should pick up some fresh salmon and try out your recipe. It sure looks good.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty tasty, and real fresh salmon would be awesome!
DeleteI love Buckhorn. We went through there (and back) on one of those houseboats, maybe moons ago. It was a great time.
ReplyDeleteSomething we always wanted to do someday, but just nice watching these guys.
DeleteDid you get your Weber commission yet? Take care, relax and enjoy
ReplyDeleteHa, Ha the check is in the mail? NOT.
