Where are we today ?
Sunshine and warmer weather all is good today. We have no plans and nothing to do, yep that is good!
A few walkabouts the resort enjoying this great sunny day and quite campground.(love quiet times here).
The a quick trip to Buckhorn pick up a few things. Below is the view from the parking lot at the grocery store, love the view!
Down the main street of town this sculpture below is beautiful.
Then by the lift lock in town is a couple boathouses docked overnight
Now after lunch can relax in the shade with a nice view and enjoy our books for a while.
Even had some wildlife stroll by slowly.
almost wildlife
Then once again fire up our Weber Q to grill a couple pacific salmon fillets with dill sauce and a fresh garlic cheese bun from the store.
Whipped up a tasty rice pilaf to add to it and had a wonderful tasty supper.
Then a just a bit of a walkabout and relax outside on a beautiful warm spring evening.
Was reading a blog earlier today and found out that Billy Bob gots hisself a "Q" Click that  Billy Bob link. Looks like he been following our blog and likes the Weber Q. 1. Yummy dinner, love my salmon. A beautiful statue to depict the name of the town. One day I would like to spend a week on a houseboat.

  3. I adore fresh salmon, and can't wait until I travel this summer to the Pacific Northwest. I don't carry a grill with me in my little Toyota Dolphin RV (no room :-( ) but I have a grill thingy that fits over one of the burners on the stove. Can I come over for dinner? ;-)

  5. You know, I can never think of what to fix for supper, and I have come to realize that I just need to check your blog for ideas! Of course, it wouldn't be as perfect as yours, but I do have the WeberQ on the porch just in case.

    1. We keep a variety of things in the freezer that we like so we have choices as the cravings hit.
Mine is not always perfect, but still taste pretty good.
Use that Weber Q more, its fun.

  6. Eldy thinks Weber grills are THE best, no matter what model you get! He's got his eye on a Weber 310 big standing grill if we ever come off the road. Maybe Sparky will cook more if we had a better grill than the little charcoal one we have now. HA!

    1. The charcoal is nice but the Weber gas is much more convenient and easy to use.
Sparky needs a Q 100 and she can teach Eldy how to use it!
He be grilling up a storm.
Then get the large one when to settle down, Can never have too many Webers is you have the space.
Son-in-law got a Weber Genesis natural gas last year and it gets used all the time now.
