A perfect day was supposed to rain but didn't, sunny warm and a fun Happy hour with fellow bloggers.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Very mild again over night with rain a good sleep at 5 am was 58F and the rain had stopped so got out and about for a nice long walkabout. And another couple more walkabouts then lite lunch.
they have some nice cabins here by the pond
a bit more water in the creek this morning
they have a very nice play area here for the kids
clubhouse
nicely set up in the clubhouse
they even have bicycles here for members to use
Now after lunch I took a drive about Wapa, to the downtown area I love, and checked out the Community Market there, They have been renovating for over 2 years now and is becoming an amazing store, Picked up a couple of deals there then back to Aldies where I picked up a very nice 10 lb spiral cut ham for Easter, wow what a deal 89 cents a lb, no matter the exchange it was still an awesome deal.

Wapa Courthouse
nice old firehall
love the theatre
and the old buildings downtown
gotta love a drive thru Beer Cave
Back home by noon and  checked out the pool. Hey nobody there , perfect will be nice and quiet, Yesterday (Sunday) many families lots of kids, close to 50 people there and very loud. No thanks I can wait till today when it is nice and quiet. I soaked in the hot tub for a while and swam a few laps of this lovely huge pool. Read for a while and dried off. This is this first time I went swimming all winter and likely the last  for a while.
love this pool and hot tubs here, 2 of them
Then at 3 pm we had visitors for Happy Hour Deb and Riley fellow bloggers (On a Long Lonesome Highway) from Ontario we have followed for a few years and last saw them in the desert of Arizona, They are full-time as well making their way back home too.
They got in touch and not far down the road and asked to join us for Happy hour. heck ya, come over. The got here at 2:30 and the conversation just flowed. Wow, where does the times go? Before we knew it was after 5 pm, so they headed on home. What a great visit we had.
Riley and Deb

Sad to see them go but time to whip up supper, the weather today turned out to be excellent, low 70's was perfect and the predicted rains did not happen. Bonus!
After they headed home I fired up our Weber Q and grilled a nice small pork Tenderloin. for tonights supper, added to our salad sure hit the spot.
About 20 minutes on low and slow, turning a few times
internal temp 145F Perfect
oh my tasty, tender cut with a fork
After supper we headed back outside to enjoy this warm day. Here it is almost 8 pm and still low 70's F. Really gotta love it. I will wrap up this posting read for a bit then head inside for the night. Almost too nice to go in, but will cool down soon. The sun is setting.
sitting right here this is what we enjoyed
yup another perfect day
We watch a DVD movies last not "Along Came a Spider" what a fantastic move it was with Morgan Freeman as Alex Cross. One of the first movies I have stayed awake for all the way through, go I know it was good.
A list of James Patterson 26 books featuring Alex Cross click HERE  I know I read  Along Came a spider years ago in paper back and on my KOBO I have read many more Pattersons 6 so far featuring Alex Cross always good page turners. And maybe another 20 of  his different series..
Thanks for taking the time to enjoy the day with us , and hope yours was good one as well.

  11. You certainly are having nice weather. That is a lovely RV park with top notch amenities. So many places are now rundown and not kept up. The town is really interesting. Enjoy your last day in the US.
