Sunshine, warmer every day. A relaxing Sunday we enjoyed.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Another chilly desert morning just a few degrees warmer would get me out for my early walkabout. I guess I will have to do it later in the day. Instead I took a early drive into town to check a few stores for an Item I have been looking for and ended up no luck. But I did pick up a nice 5 lb bag on Tangelos that we love for 5 bucks.
really love these sweet juicy oranges
Back home and puttered around for a while and we enjoyed a very tasty light lunch. Then at 11 am it was wonderfully warm and I headed out for a nice walkabout , 3 miles and really enjoyed it. Temps getting to 70 f this afternoon , I got my shorts and sandals on, deployed our awning and enjoyed our e-readers in this wonderful desert sun and warmth.
that be us there
and the bunch of there as neighbors
On my walkabout this morning lots off these Blue bird coaches are heading on out, Love that when they leave their group they all play their musical air horns to different tunes. We can here them from where we are parked.
this rig was playing "on the road again"
love his Towed
so much wide open space here always lotsa room
While we enjoyed the afternoon warmth this rig below was heading out, faster than he needs to go and sure was stirring up one heck of a dust storm.
looks like they are in a hurry
And as we like to do Happy Hour at the Stinger B (Tom and Deb's coach). As we do sharing stories lotsa laughs and tips with  each other. A great way to wind up the afternoon.
Happy hour at the stinger B
We headed home just before 5 pm to whip up supper. Tonight we are going to try these mussels I picked up the other day at Smart and Final in Blythe. We do love Mussels if they are good and tasty.
had to try them out
We were going t try them with our salad and I whipped into the Road Runner market in town for some fresh buns from the bakery. Well heck they had large cheese loaves. I asked  the young lady if they had smaller ones or a half. She said no problem we can sell you a half. We don't each much bread so this was perfect for us !n They do cater to us rv''ers here very well.
these were amazing!
perfectly done and so tasty
And as supper was about done we got to enjoy another desert sunset right here. Does this winter weather get much better than this? Not for us at least.
in a few minutes the sun has set
Now dishes done, garbage taken care of and now here we are outside enjoying this wonderful quiet evening.  7 pm temp still 63 F getting chilly and the wind pretty well gone.
I can finish this posting  in good time and really enjoy this fresh desert air for a while longer.
Thanks for stopping by for a peek and hope y'all had a wonderful winter day as well.

  4. The color before sunrise was beautiful and the sunset ended the day with lovely color. It was errand day for us so we did not get to sit out enjoy a lot of the day but we know there will be many more to come. Happy Hour was certainly fun, enjoyed comparing "notes" today.
Nice to read in yesterday's post that you all had fun at the Canadian Dinner. As many times as we have bought tickets for 50/50's we have never benefited...lol

    1. Well you got you errands done. Love the morning and nighttime colors with the sun. Comparing "notes" was enjoyable, nice to chat with you for a while.
The Canadian Potluck is fun and always a good meal. We have never won a 50/50 draw either.

    1. When I found these the other day we just had to try them. A quick easy prepare. You can do in the microwave or stove top. i prefer stove top and only took about 10 minutes from frozen.

    1. There was a lot of rigs , most of the parties are over. That rig was travelling a little too fast to create all that dust.
Yes winter is defiantly over and the earth sure feels wonderful more and more every day.
