Hey busy doing too much stuff here, but enjoying the weather too!.

Where are we today ?
This morning a kinda foggy day and rain showers, So at 7:30 took the car to the garage, chat with the guys then off to New Hamburg, Hemmerich hearing aides and Cheri got me fixed up in no time flat. Both working now, love my Worker's Compensation they pay for it all. Not fun being deaf but at least WSIB pays the shot.
Then at 8:30 into Waterloo pick up a new fridge for Ma. With a shoe horn got it on the car, off loaded and into her room. Exactly what she wanted = she happy. The maintenance guy (Lee) showed up at the right time, helped me set it up, took the old one away and the boxes too. Bonus !
old fridge keeps icing up
new fridge has separate door for the freezer
nice, now she happy
Back home for lunch relax for a bit and then Suzie had me run her computer into Waterloo, drop off at a computer guy we know there. He does setups for many commercial businesses and did her office many years ago.We still keep in touch and we can trust him (like Rick Doyle), thats a big plus. Will need some parts and Rick can't do that remotely.
Finally back home by 2:30 a dip in the pool to cool off and enjoy some reading time in the shade.
Yep its nice here and the view amazing
About 5 o'clock time to make supper. Whip up a salad and grill a couple turkey garlic sausage and zucchini slices on our Weber Q 100.
sure hit the spot
Now we had planned to leave tomorrow but gonna hang about and see what Jeremy can do with her laptop. So another hurry up and wait deal.
Another day here and enjoying this amazing hot weather got that hitch itch real bad but, will need to get things done first.
Glad you stopped by for a peek.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this Spring and Summer.

  1. It seems like Murphy is making his rounds delaying everyone's travel plans. Good luck with the computer.
Temps are supposed to start cooling down a bit starting tomorrow.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  2. We had a little refrigerator at our little place in Washington that had only one exterior door too. It constantly iced up and was hard to keep the freezer door closed. We replaced it with a new one with two separate doors too.

I have downloaded windows 10 onto my laptop (yesterday) it all seems OK so far - I use my tablet most of the time now...I love it...I take pics and can upload straight into blogger...etc it connects to the home wifi...Good luck with your travel...will stay tuned

  6. I'm still wondering how you transported that fridge in the car. You should have taking a photo of that.

    1. It was a very tight fit in the back seat of our little saturn, still in the box but the straps on the box made it easier to handle, got it most of the way in and pulled from the other side.

  7. At least you can get the computer fix. Well worth waiting around a few days.
