Getting stuff done and the Mower is fixed, lawn mowing is a breeze now.

Where are we today ?
Another great day weather wise temps up to the mid 70's F(23c) and walkabout town first thing. Stop by Pettigrew's Garage, shoot the breeze with the guys and back here by 8:am At 8:30 our Mechanic Dale (from Pettigrew's), rode his bike here with his code reader to check out the error code on the dash of our coach. "Service Engine". Annualizing this he believes we need a sensor for altitude. Says we are at 7,000 feet elevation, not likely here in Ontario. So he will do what needs to be done and fix us up.
Them at 9 am dropped Suzie at her Mom's in New Hamburg and I spent the next couple hours about town to pick up some groceries and supplies we needed. Picked her up shortly after 11 and back to Plattsville for our lunch.
passed by this fellow on the side of river road,
just down the street from our coach,
told him to stay off the road
After a light lunch I hopped on the mower (a comercial one with a 61 inch deck) and mowed the 5 acres acres here. Now its pretty nice, John has fixed the charging system and I got it all done in one shot! Only 2 and 1/2 hours and all done, thats more like it.
that be the Ferris, zero turn mower
about the middle looking back to the tree line
that's our coach about 100 yards from the road
Now for a dip in the heated pool to cool down, then enjoy our e-readers for a while.
behind our coach the afternoon sun
Then gonna do what I love, whip up supper. Tonight some Pre cooked pork ribs we picked up on sale for $6.00 ( can't turn down a deal). just heat up on our Weber Q with some fresh asparagus, add to a salad and we good to go. Even have leftovers too, bonus tomorrow's lunch.
very tasty
We done and Suzie asked me to do dishes, no problem, I know how after 10 years in my restaurant. She going back to visit her mom tonight for a bit.
Dishes done I can enjoy a nice evening outside, post this blog and read some more, gotta love this weather!
And as I have said before, thanks for stopping by to check us out, not real exciting but we are enjoying this great weather and keeping ourselves busy.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this Spring and Summer.

    1. Oh yeah not a problem, we usually share the work she lets me cook and I let her do the dishes a good deal for both of us!

  2. Hope the little guy listened to you when you told him to stay off the road! There's just something about making it easier to mow a yard when the lawnmower works. Well, that is unless you have a goat. Letting the goat do it would be the easiest way of all.

    1. The goat would be good but playing on the mower is fun too.
