More vendors to enjoy and talked with for quite a while ( not too busy at 9:30 am yet) sells these wooden roses. I have bought a few dozen for Suzie over the years and she maybe needs to replace some. They eventually fade from the sun. They last a long time and ony 50 cents each.
This vendor also carved these humming birds below. Amazing artwork below they are actually carved from one piece of wood!

amazing carving |
Then wandering on by my main stop is to pick up some pepperettes from my favorite vendor. these are made by with beef and pork, smoked and very tasty. I enjoy the extra hot ones. Red label.

got bag for me and one for Ron |
As usual entrainment going here all day. Today a drummer doing his things and can be heard all over the market.
We left by 11 am but they soon serve wine and beer in the food court, along with all the food vendors here as well. Breakfast, Burgers, hot dogs, fries, ice cream, coffee, you name it all here.

Back home for lunch and just putter around for a while doing stuff. Then our friends Emile and Monique stopped by on their walkabout. We had an early "happy Hour" as the forecast said we gonna have a thunderstorm. But did not happen until much later. But we did enjoy some social time outside.
Once they left I fired up our Weber Q 100 to cook only one of these Turkey breast Cordon Swiss we picked up at Hayter's Turkey in Dashwood last time we went through. They are huge !
About an hour on the grill and some very tasty asparagus sure hit the spot added to our salad.
Well here I am outside at 8:30 pm finishing up posting the blog and still no rain. Shorts, t-shirt sandals, no bugs, gotta love it. Yep its overcast and a storm will come, but we don't care we will be in bed by then.
Glad that you could stop in again and really hope your Sunday was as good as ours.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this Spring and Summer.
How could they have home grown peppers already? Are they grown in a hot house?
ReplyDeleteThey are "Ontario Grown" peppers and no doubt in a local hot house.
DeleteThat definitely is someplace that looks fun to visit. With nice weather and great things to do, it certainly must have been a wonderful day you had.

Looks like we both had a great day exploring.
ReplyDeleteThe rain started around 6:30 for us but the radar showed it going south of your location.
Be safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
We did get a lot of rain overnight and still raining today.
DeleteIt must be a good market to have been in business that long.
ReplyDeleteIt is an excellent market, improving all the time with quality vendors too.
DeleteThat is a very creative way to tell the bikers where to park.
ReplyDeleteIt is and a lot of bikers make this a destination too.
