Warmer day, baby gooses, fleamarket and meeting a a super couple (blog followers)

Where are we today ?
Well if yesterday was awesome last night and today is awesomer! Maybe no such word but thats just the way it is. Sleeping with windows open walkabouts first thing as the sun is rising, shorts and t shirt. Blue skies, birds chirping and the two Canada Geese families by the pond with their two families Goose puppies. (expression from Billy Bob). Two families of 5 puppies.
across this pond
single file across the road
into this pond, go play with your cousins
Another walk along Mortgage Row and left on Bad Bunch Blvd, past this vintage Packard below and back home.
nice Packard
Then by 8:30 Suzie ready to go so off the the Pinery Fleamarket again in Grand Bend. We are on a mission to exchange 12 more books we have finished with our favorite vendor John. Got 8 free books in exchange, we are good to go for quite a while now. It will be a while before we are back in this area again.
plane on display at the market
motorcycle parking
We always see something new and interesting here, fresh fruits, meats sausage, books, food, buskers etc....
these buskers were very entertaining
chip wagon, fresh cut fries
John's Books, a good selection and pretty organized believe it or not
While here we received a phone call from a couple in London Ontario Bill and Pat. They have been following our blog for quite a while and we have never met. We had invited them to stop out anytime and today was the day. So our shopping done we headed back home to meet them
a nice old Ford and hot rod had been driven here and
are given special parking just like the motorcycles.
this was our book haul today
I even picked up a couple new SD cards for my camera,
2 for $5.00. My old one is becoming corrupt,
don't need a bigger one as I download pics everyday
Back to Rock Glen and got there about two minutes after Bill and Pat and they even brought their cock-a-pooh? (Clemson) for Suzie's doggie fix.
We finally met and sat and chatted, so cool meeting fellow rver's. They wanted to pick our brains about fulltime rving as they plan to do that in the near future. They picked and picked we got to know each other. Soon our brains needed fuel, so I fired up our Weber to grill a few hotdogs with potato chips.
Brains refuelled again and we exchanged more stories then before we know its after 3 pm. We can't tell them much about our travels = they read our blog!  Wow time flies when we all talk about something we love. Soon to say our goodbyes, (see ya again) and away they went, took Clemson with them too :(. Such a super interesting couple, working on a dream like we did many years ago. Hope we gave them some information they can use, like we said do your research.
Pat, Clemson and Bill
Then we just relaxed a bit and enjoyed reading for a while and a walkabout, noticed our neighbor coming back in with his motorcycle and trailer, Golden Retriever along for the ride. The dog just loves riding in his custom made trailer.
our temperature here at 5:30pm
After 5 o'clock so fired  up our Weber Q again to grill a nice fish fillet,
I made my version of Spanish Rice and a tossed salad
hit the spot
Then with temps still in the 70's f (23c) after supper a walkabout and enjoy our books until too dark. All the weekenders gone and it was so quite all we could hear was the birds singing and the mourning doves cooing. Eventually too dark to read and we enjoyed another nice sunset.
That was it for another day more perfect than the last, they just seem to keep getting better, not that we are complaining.
Thanks again for stopping by for a visit and hope y'all come back again, we having too much fun here.

  6. Hi guys...what beautiful weather you are having. And what a treat it is to meet fellow bloggers. I have been reading and keeping up with you, but haven't commented much lately...very slow internet! It's much better now!

I like your new word..."awesomer" . Some days it just seems like it can't get any better, then the next day rolls around and it is even better. What a life!

  10. Great photo selection of hot rods. Interesting how baby geese follow their parents in a straight line.

Good job on sharing thoughts and experiences with potential new full timers.
