Where are we today ?Another exciting day here in Plattsville, overcast, cool and drizzly off and on just like it has been most of the week. The good news is there is a slight possibility we could have some sunshine next week for a couple days.
Just hanging out, a few walkabouts when its not raining, drop Suzie off at her Mom and Dads so she could accompany them to a doctors appointment. Her Mom had baked a nice dutch apple pie with spelt flour that we just had to sample, yep very tasty.

Normally boiled for a couple hours or 8 hours in a slow cooker but can be done quite quickly in our pressure cooker with about 1 and 1/2 cups of water. I just rinsed it good a couple times to eliminate some of the salt then 20 Minutes under pressure, quick cool, add potatoes and carrots for about 12 more minutes under pressure. Done. Everything turned out excellent in less than an hour and all cooked in one pot. Lotsa leftovers great for sandwiches too.

Oh by the way Suzie has pretty well completely recovered from tooth extraction, no issues at all.
