A great day, but lost my pictures!

Where are we today ?
A wonderful day yesterday and a good nights sleep. Windows open Fantastic fan going all night and lows about 55f (13c) perfect for sleeping.

Have a major problem that has never happened before. Not sure what happened but I took a bunch of pictures today. Down loaded as usual, put them in I-photo, as usual, erased from my SD card and when I went to edit them can't find them? What gives? Where did they go? Can't find them anywhere, looking and looking, hmm the mysteries of computers. So no pictures today.

As usual first thing this morning gonna check email. OOPPS, forget to buy a prepaid card for our Verizon MIFI internet. Expired today. No problem went to the clubhouse and hooked up to their free wifi. Well free is good but turtle slow, but I did find out Brookshires (grocery store) in town a few miles away opened at 7 am sunday morning. So into town I go for a prepaid card. They don't have exactly what I want but the very nice (young) cashier advised me that Dollar General next door does.
Next door I go, and they are open at 8am. Now go figure a small town (population 3,000) these stores are open so early on a sunday morning. Got what we needed and back home internet up and working before 8:30 this morning.
All is good here and thinking a nice drive to Livingston Texas. Why? Just cause we have never been there and would like to check out the area while we are here.
only 32 miles away today
So after an early lunch hopped in the car and we gone for a drive thru Texas Back country. Was gonna show you where and what, but guess my pictures don't wanna co-operate.
Any who we had a nice country drive enjoying the Texas backcountry roads. Passed a garage and had nice pic of the sign but sorry, not here, "Bubba's Garage" Mechanic on duty. Just love it.
Gonna check out Livingston Texas but did not realize, Sunday afternoon, March break is over and traffic in this huge/small town.
Now thats enough traffic, no sightseeing for us! Back home, campground getting empty, weather is great 85 f in the shade. Lets just relax and read for a while.
Fire up our Weber, grill a 1/2 chicken, bake a few potatoes, grill some asparagus and yellow pepper for a very tasty supper tonight. Sorrry pics all gone..:<(.... Where did they go??
Now still warm out after supper, and can read outside until almost 8pm, shorts, t-shirts almost like summer, just lovin this weather.

Thanks for dropping by and  hope you enjoyed your day as much as we did ours.

P.S.: if you find my pictures please send then, back!

  1. We have been to Livingston many many times. We are Escapee members. If you like BBQ, get directions to Florida's. Excellent ribs.

  7. Hi George, you can recover your deleted photos from your SD card by downloading this program:

    Pandora Photo Recovery

    It works great!

  8. When you're in Livingston say "hello" to our mailbox ;-) We've had the Escapees mail service for years but been there only a few times. Hope your pictures return home... they have to be out there somewhere, don't they?

  11. Rick Doyle seems to be a jack of all trades when it comes to fixing a problem. I'm going to remember Pandora in case I misplace my photos.
I miss your picture of tonight's dinner
