Buck and Doe Today

Shelley and Greg
our coach is out of the way
This is a couples pre wedding party celebration for our nephew Greg and his fiance Shelley. Going to held at the farm in the driving shed that has been emptied out and cleaned up for this event. Now Suzie's mom is preparing potato salad at her house, Suzie, Stacey, her aunt and cousin at the farm this morning to make huge tubs of coleslaw. And me the gofor (gofor this, gofor that).
Making coleslaw
The wedding party arrived to set up and decorate the driving shed. Shelley's family arrived and began heating up the barbeque beef and meatballs and sausage.
where does this go?
Parking signs were set up and the tractors parked nice and neat next to the coverall, everybody back home to their respective farms for chores, and I was nominated to cook 3 huge bags of penne pasta (7.5lbs) for later, which took about 2 hours.
nice and neat
Shortly after 6:00 pm people began arriving even thou it was not to start until 8:00 pm, after chores and milking here at the farm. The rain also arrived around that time as well, good thing for the shed. There was over 200 people that attended this fun celebration.

Now after the feast, raffle tickets were drawn and prizes handed out. There was about a dozen or so home made pies donated to be auctioned off and Greg being the great Auctioneer that he is did a great job with pies selling as low as $30.00 and the highest price was paid for Shelley's Peach pie $200.00.  This was very interesting and fun with most everyone getting into the bidding, there was even a 2 lb ziplok bag of Suzie's mother's famous potato salad that was sold for $45.00

Now after the auction and stuff the music picked up with a good DJ, people were still arriving, coming and going socializing and dancing. Even Omer the dog got into the party mood, after escorting cars to the parking area, welcoming people and socializing he to got on the dance floor.
