Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, 

since August. 2006

      Today is overcast and rainy pretty well all day. No problem thou, (we have had a very busy summer) a nice day to relax, putter about a bit, get caught up on emails and computing. In the morning a nice drive to Forest to get the license sticker for Suzie's car, then stop at the Arkona market for a few grocery items. Roast beef was on sale so I picked one up to throw in our slow cooker with some potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic (a rare treat for us). This is a great meal for a cool rainy day, (comfort food) allowing it to slowly roast away all day filling our house with some awesome aromas.

      Afternoon I checked the battery in our neighbours coach and found it was fully charged. Then I checked the battery in our coach and found out it was not holding a charge, so time to get a new one, sometime in the next few weeks, before we move again. A visit with Mike, Trish and Jordan in the afternoon, and found that they too were having the same supper as us, a great camping standby when the weather cools down a bit.

      Back home to read and compute a bit then relax to enjoy a tasty roast beef supper complete with gravy and Yorkshire pudding, and of course horseradish. Then we can relax a bit more with a book and a movie, life is grand!
