Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
A bit of rain off and on last night and nice cool night for sleeping, no heat required and our windows open for fresh air. 50 F at 5 am.
My 7:30 walkabout the campground was very nice sun coming up nice and quiet blue sunny skies looks like it will be a nice day. But this quickly changed about 9:30 overcast a drizzly. Oh well this particular weekend can be iffy, and we have had more rainy ones than not in 15 years.  No matter we bundle up and do it anyway, no rain date for this.
I took a too many pictures today and culled them down as much as possible, but is so much to see and do here and so  many wonderfully decorated sites.
one of many decorations
the lake looks wonderful early this morning
Then I cruised around looking for more decorations this morning and yes  there was quite a few more than I have not shown your in the last 2 postings.
Then about11 am I whipped up a double batch of Sausage rolls in puff pastry to share with our friends this afternoon, enjoying the fun Halloween stuff, For the recipe you can click HERE or my recipe blog top right sidebar.
these turned out wonderful and have 72 for us to nibble on
and guess what they were all consumed.
They have a craft sale here every Saturday at the club house from 11 am till 1 pm we checked it out but nothing we could buy this time.
the clubhouse deck
There is lotsa cool stuff there but nothing we needed,
Then to Bill and Barb's. Granddaughter  Sadie has arrived and she is a sweetie, as soon as I walked in she waved at me and smiled, wow, gotta love that.
Then I cruised around bit more to check things out before they stop the traffic coming into the park, too many children and adults running everywhere. Here is a few more decorations .
Now we are having snacks and treats here, First thing a bucket of vitamin C , 4 lbs of sliced oranges, in a pail layered with brown sugar then poured a 26 oz bottle of Tequila over it all and let marinade for a day or 2 . Oh my oranges never tasted so good.
Then more food came out, a hamburg casserole, pulled pork, veggies and dips, chips an dips, crackers and cheese, sausage rolls  we had a lot of food to nibble on all day.
Sadie and her Dad, Scott
Then we sampled some moonshine with apples and pears, hmm very interesting , tasty and with a kick.
tasty moonshine by Billy
this be Barb having fun
wagon rides for over 2 hours with a long lineup
Sadie and Kim ready for Trick or treating
she is doll Pebbles Flintstone.
Now the jello shots came out and these are so tasty. a couple of trays these are for the adult trick or treaters, this is the norm here for Halloween.
Barb all lit up and ready to go
apple pie jello with whipped cream
wow
Now because it was cold and damp my arthritis was really bothering my hands, So I took and old pair of cotton gloves and cut the fingers off, Now I was much more comfortable and less joint pain in my hands, what a huge  relief, most of the pain is gone.
this sure helped my aching hands
One of Billy's boys dressed,
interesting costume
this be Billy
Now Jamie the devil is here too
Kim and Sadie heading on out
Scotts Dad going right along
Now at 4 pm the trick or treaters began,Suzie set up with Bill, Janine and Betty to hand our treats for the kids and they were nonstop. We have enough for 240 kids and were gone in an hour, guess we should bring enough for 400 kids in 2 hours. Some interesting costumes, and all ages, everyone having a great time.
lotsa dinosaurs
adult treats
she had bright headlights
think this nun lost her dress?
Betty being attached by a shark
Scooby came by handing out treats
Now the rush was over got the campfire going more and snacked a bit more .
Bill was still dressed up
We all gathered around the campfire keeping warm , temps now below 59 F so the fire was welcome . some of the young ones had to be taken home but we are having fun until about 8:30 then the skies opened up and the rain began again. Oh well at least it was not raining this afternoon for the kids.
a lovely fire we were enjoying
until the rain started
Well we had a very busy fun day, with lotsa friends and lotsa great food, enjoyed the costumes and all the kids coming by for their treats. This is what we are here for and do enjoy this time here with friends. Tomorrow we pull out and stop for the night at Bill and Barbs,  then make our way south for more fun travels.
Thanks to dropping by again an hope y'all had a great day as well.

    1. Most of them inflate and fold flat and I would think these people all have houses to store all these things in.
