Clic on a pic to enlarge it
Just another wonderful desert day here, What can I say?
After my early morning  walkabout at 7 AM , Before 9am  I headed to Blythe California for some grocery shopping, Got that done and home to whip up a small pot of chicken noodle soup, from the cornish hen we did last night on out Weber Q.
just enough for 2 bowls of soup
love my homemade soup
Now realized that our fresh water was getting low, So grabbed our empty containers and added about 25 gallons to our 75 gallon fresh water tank.
old water pump tops it very easy
While I was dong this noticed a fellow blogger, we had met before heading our way. It was Barbara of Me, my dog and my RV click here for her link.
what a wonderful lady she is
After a great visit  with Barbara she wandered back home and I finished topping up our fresh water tank.
Then Happy hour evolved . Friends dropped buy and more stories were shared. Always fun to exchange ideas.

As the sun was setting I fired up our Weber Q and grilled a couple cod fish fillets.

Just another desert day that we enjoyed. Thanks for stopping on by.

Where have we been this Winter

  1. I really enjoyed our visit! :)

  2. Looks like tomorrow is a visiting day. Supposed to visit Barbara tomorrow afternoon. Where is she located from your location.
    Supper Looks Good.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  3. Crikey ..... how good was that?? You met up with my friend Barbara. Was Katie with her?? I knew she was near you and was wondering if you knew one another.

    1. Small world isn't it Charlie.
Katie was at home it was too hard to bring her this far over the stones.

  4. the cooler weather brings out the soup makers in us. I made a big pot of homemade chicken soup yesterday. Yumm. The chicken I simmered for the broth was large enough to yield meat for both the soup,(two or three days worth) and for a double batch of enchiladas in the future. Love soup! Keep warm and say hi to Barbara for us if you see her again.

    1. Oh yes love homemade chicken soup oh so good.
We will see Barbara again today and pass the message on.

  5. Now that is a clever way to refill the fresh water tank. Good job.

We love it when you take the time to drop us a line.
