Another enjoyable day in the desert. What's not to like about that?

Where are we today ?
Quartzsite Arizona

Another wonderful day we are having here. Gets  to be the same every day. Cold nights, and warm sunny days. Are we complaining? Think not, just the way we love it and no humidity or bugs!
Morning walkabout for a couple miles, then a cruise into town. Check out the car lot with the old cars. Some really neat cars to be found here but the prices! Most are from $20K to $35 K and not in show room condition. Sure wish I still had some of my old cars now !

But does not cost anything to look. Was a fun walkabout.
The sign was put up for the Big rv show in January. Tent not ready yet but will be soon erected.
Home for a light lunch and read in the hot sun for a while.  Then Suzie and I did a tour about town. Stopped at Gem World. Lots to see and buy . Actually picked up a few items or our Grands.Cool things but can't tell you they might see them.
Some really amazing deals to be had here if you are into these things.
the Quartzsite Camel
 is here too
Next door to the Chamber of Commerce, and got some info on the area again. Very nice lady there.
Then back home read a bit more in the sun shine. Lovin' it. Time for supper. Tonight we have a craving for something a bit different.Still have a bunch of leftover chicken from the other day. So just threw together some  chicken, with sauteed onions and mushrooms in a chicken gravy over pasta, and a side salad. Like a chicken stroganoff. More leftovers...
this took care of
Suzie's craving
and so tasty
Another day here in the desert just enjoying this amazing weather.
      Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Some of those old cars look familiar... seems I remember having a 1937 Buick (and, yes, it was older than me ;-.... and we had a 1959 Ford Starlighter... and an old Studebaker and an old DeSota... heck... my ex could have supplied half the vehicles for that show! Looks like you had fun...

  4. I guess if you remember old cars, that means you're old too? Fortunately, I don't remember any of them... :cD
