Unseasonably cooler, but sunny and not too windy.

Where are we today ?
Sunny and warm day but not hot 46f at 6 am and got up to about 64f, but it was nice here in the sunshine and out of the wind. So after a a few morning walkabouts and chatting with people I am set to clean up these old chairs that I rescued and reinforced. We now have 4 and need to get rid of a couple of newer ones that we don't need/or want anymore.
In case anyone is interested I found a website where you can actually purchase these aluminum frame chairs new, if you care click here. Maybe we will look them up some day too.We find them much more comfortable than all the newer ones we have purchased over the years. Stronger a very lightweight. 4.5 lbs.
cleaned up pretty nice
That chore done, more walkabouts a workout in the gym, read for while, chat with a few people that dropped by, Freddie too. We had a wonderful day enjoying the sunshine. Freddie is three years old today "Happy Birthday Freddie" he got three doggie treats from me (not candles though)
Suzie got her doggie fix with Freddie
Soon time for supper so fire up the Weber Q, grill a couple tiny taters, yellow pepper and a huge smoked pork chop that we shared.
love these smoked chops, so moist and tasty
Added the chop, baked tater, grilled pepper and a tasty salad with red leaf lettuce, spinach, cucumber, carrots, grape tomatoes, flax seed, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, ripe olives, fresh mushrooms and EVOO with balsamic vinegar dressing sure did the trick tonight.
so tasty
After supper a bit of a walkabout and enjoy our books outside until its too dark. Mind you now need sweat pants and seaters on but still a very nice night.
Thanks for stopping by again and hope you had a nice relaxing, sunny day like we did too.

    1. Thanks for thinking of me but that was probably a long lost relative a few time removed. Our family came to North America in 1890 from Liverpool England.

  3. Those chairs are so colorful! We like those kind... the ones that are like a canvas bag are way too hard for me to get up out of these day ;-) Food looks tasty... as always!

  5. I love those chairs...do they dry pretty quick if they get rained on? Bag chairs have never been comfortable for us either!

    1. These do dry pretty quick, but we never leave them out in the rain or sunshine, that why ours have lasted over 20 years.
The new web chairs dry real quick if you get new ones.

  6. The temperatures getting cooler are just a reminder to you that summer does come to an end. Soon you will be heading south again.
