Relocate to Rock Glen Resort and ran into a whole mess of fellow rver's we have not seen for a while, how cool is that ?

Where are we today ?
Today gonna be another wonderful day. We are relocating, love travelling, new places new and familiar faces, just moving down the road to Rock Glen Resort in Arkona. Our Home membership park for Resorts of Distinction. If you have followed us for while you know we love our membership parks. No over night fees to pay, full hookups, (30 amp) and all the facilities and activities we can do if we choose.
119 kms (73 miles) today
We arrived just before noon and our favourite sight was available again (first come first served sites). Our friend Ron stopped by to visit while we were setting up. Then the sales person Justin stopped by with a prospective new member to introduce us to a very nice lady AnneMarie and we discussed the advantages of membership camping and why it has paid off for us BIG time. We chatted for quite a while (shared a few tips) then noticed a friend of ours Steve walking by. Have not seen him since last December in Arizona. Opps thats not right we saw him and Barb at a wedding In Rochester New York this past June at a mutual Rv'er friends son's wedding.
AnneMarie and Justin
Steve stopped by to chat for a while too.

As the afternoon progressed we met up with Dick and Raye, we last saw in Glen Rose Texas, Harry and Jackie this spring here, Bill Wilson (Carol) as well as Sylvia (Jim) last summer here at this resort. Wray and Liz that we saw here a month ago.
Steve and Barb are leaving tomorrow I believe so we stopped down there for "Happy Hour" just as the rain began before supper, catch up with them, then back home to prep our supper.
Judy, another fellow Rv'er stopped by on her walk, we met in Desert Hot Springs California, Ehrenburg and Quartzsite Arizona last winter (just waiting for Jim to arrive), while we were preparing supper.
Another advantage of membership camping, we run into people we know all over north America at our membership parks, makes for such a small world. And we make new friends along the way as well.
Now for supper tonight we are grilling a couple of Haddock fillets from the Canadian east coast, Bay of Fundy, between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Another tasty mild fish we love.
about 10 minutes on our Weber Q, and done perfectly
add the Haddock to a tasty lettuce and a bean salad,
sure hit the spot
Supper done and the rain has stopped, but cooler and overcast for a few days here. No problem, all is good and we can enjoy a quiet time outside for a while until its too dark to read.
Looks like we have some socializing to do for the next little while here, and catching up with fellow rv'ers we have not seen for a while.
Glad you could stop by for a visit too and join the crowd.

  1. I've done salmon on foil like that with olive oil, but never haddock. Might have to give that a try. Looks good.

    1. Most any fish on the foil, just spray with a bit of olive oil.

  9. Y'all just continue to amaze me with all the folks you meet... and meet again in another part of the globe. As I've written ... internet here is the pits... but I catch up with you at least once a week. Those moose accident photos you sent me were mind-boggling! I don't know how that woman survived.... moose appendages everywhere! I'll tell you... even though our road isn't heavily traveled, I sure watch out for the critters!!!!
