Join us as we travel North America in our
Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August 2006
Wow we had a great nights sleep, after a busy few days. Nice to wake up 6:00am with the sun rising and nice view out our front window, thru the trees, the playground, rock garden and the fresh mown grass in the fields.
A relaxing morning of coffees, computing, chatting with Suzie's brother as he stops for a coffee on the way to the dairy barn. Then a quick trip to the garage in town to see what everybody is up to.
Then a trip to Waterloo to pick up a few items, stop by ma's for a coffee, and adjust her thermostat for her after a power outage last week. Back home I can putter about a bit trimming a piece of wood and painting it to support Sandy's trellises that I freshened up last time I was here. In the meantime Omer just loves it when we are here. He lays on our mat outside the door or under the coach in the shade, I think he enjoys our company.
Now tonight we get to have an early supper, so I fired up the barbie to roast some potatoes in foil with onions and butter, grill some chicken thighs and drumsticks with steamed fresh local asparagus and fresh, very sweet local strawberries and ice cream for desert, nothing like farm fresh food.
Now we get to relax, read and compute a bit and some tv before calling it a night. Think we are catching up on our rest, somewhat now.

You have been busy, nice to sit and relax a bit. Is the rock garden growing:)
ReplyDeleteContessa:
ReplyDeleteRock garden is growing slowly, and Sandy added a nice old farm gate to it. Will post tomorrow.
Whiskey is like Omar, she likes the shade under Sherman. I expect that Omar likes it when you are there because Suzie makes such a fuss of him.
