Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August. 2006
Saturday morning and its a nice warm, sunny day again. A walkabout was in order and chat with a new neighbour for a while who has travelled extensively in Mexico, we compared our experiences and both agreed it is a beautiful country to tour. By the time this conversation was over my coach polishing ambition went away. So time for lunch and a different project. I removed all of our screens and cleaned them with a brush and hose. They get pretty dirty from the dust, sand and rain especially in our travels. Now with these out I can clean all the windows and mirrors with an excellent squeegee that we bought just for that purpose.
With this project done it was time to relax a for a while in the shade with a good book. Then before we knew it, it was time for supper. Tonight some tasty hot chicken wings, fries with veggies and dip. After dishes were done we saw a group walking up the road with their lawn chairs to Jack and DeDe's for a wonderful evening campfire, so we joined them all for some lively chit chat and waving at the younguns touring the resort on their saturday night wagon ride. But rain began about 8.30pm so we headed home to stay dry and watch a movie.
a wonderful campfire
