A great day again. Sunny and warm with just a little cool breeze. After a few coffees I decided today was a good day for a bit more spring cleaning. So in the bedroom I removed both window valances and venetian blinds to the picnic table outside. With a soft brush, soap and hose they came out looking like new. Removing all the water stains and Mexican dust from them. While these were drying I vacuumed the car and shook a few of our throw blankets and car mats. The sand that came out was amazing !! I thought maybe we could start our own beach. If thats the biggest problem of hanging out on the beach for 3 months in the winter, I guess we can put up with it.
After these chores were done we sat in the sun for a while to read while I BBQ'd a cornish hen, with potatoes and cauliflower for supper. Then we sat outside to read for a while longer before watching some TV. Around 9:00 pm I got a call from my youngest daughter asking if we had the campfire going. After replying no, to her, she asked if we could open the gate to the resort, surprize!!! Her and the 2 boys (6 & 2) had arrived for a visit. They were going to come in the morning, but she figured by the time they got up and going, half the day would be shot so they came out now. Awesome, so we played and chatted for a bit then made up a bed and everybody crashed for the night. We are looking forward to a fun day tomorrow.
