The fall colours are beginning.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic for more
Just more great weather, I am sounding like a broken record, but that is just the way it is. And we loving it. The forecast for the next week looks pretty good as well.
Got a few nice walkabouts done early this morning a bit foggy until the sun burned it off.
Noticed this one large tree starting to change colors, a sure sign that fall is just around the corner.
fall will soon be here
a little foggy but mostly gone by 9 am
I puttered around for a while this morning and made some of my caesar salad dressing for the large salad that I will take for the dart banquet tomorrow afternoon.
After lunch the fitness centre here for another great workout before and after enjoying our e-readers outside in the shade on this amazing summer like day, temps into the high 70's (25C), nothing to sneeze at, thats for sure.
Then shortly after 3 pm our Happy (social) Hour. Tucker and Gerry stopped in  and we flapped  our gums for a while.
Tucker got his usual one treat  and Suzie her doggie fix
Melinda stopped by on her way back to work and Ron as usual stopped to give us a hard time.
Tucker growled at Melinda, protecting Gerry from her,
he is the Protector
Melinda got a nice dress for her new grand daughter to arrive this winter,
Paul on the left looks excited about it?
Soon time to whip up supper again. Tonight Suzie wanted some noodles for supper, so an easy quick, last minute fix for that. A Knorr sidekicks dish, something we very rarely do but did the trick on short notice to go with our grilled chicken legs and thighs.
a rare side dish for us anymore
the grill mat keeps the grill clean
and does great job
love our chicken, the noodles and veggies
sure did the trick too
Now to enjoy sitting outside, crickets seem to get louder every night.  Here it is almost 8pm and still 73f (22C) finishing up this posting and get back into our e-readers, more page turner books we are enjoying. Will hang out here until it begins to feel chilly probably another hour or so and head inside for the night. Right now we feel like we are just putting in time until we can head south across the border and make our way to the southwest somewhere. Only 32 days left to go!
Thanks for stopping in and I just hope you had a wonderful warm late summer day wherever you are.
