Canadian Snowbird reminder and a pretty wonderful fall day.

Where are we today ?
Canadian Snow Birds will be interested in this article click HERE , just a reminder for y'all.. Big brother will be keeping track of us. We have been doing all this for years so no problem for us including the form 8840 as mentioned in the article. Easy to do just follow the rules. Just kinda cramps our style a bit.

We have an almost decent day here with not a lot on the agenda, so a good day to do laundry. And that's what we did. Got it all done by noon. Busy day tomorrow.
After lunch I finished off the lawn chair project.  Did a final trim on the brackets I made, drilled the holes and pop riveted into place. They will be very strong now.
Just want to thank Ma for the wonderful job she did on these chairs many years ago (yep she reads this blog everyday). We are so glad to be able to use them (our most favourite type of chairs too). They will last us for many, many more years.
before the brackets
brackets I made yesterday, ready to drill and install
my pop rivet gun
all re-enforced and ready for use.
Then a few more walkabouts, work out at the gym and read for a while outside, actually not too cold, but not weather for shorts while sitting out. I had my shorts on earlier though. Temps were in the mid 60's f and sunshine for a while, was very nice.
Rob, Pat and Lady Girl stopped by for a social hour then time to fire up our Weber Q. Tonight gonna grill a couple Bratwurst we still have from Missouri. Our favourite as you can see below.
these are so tasty
grilled a sweet banana pepper too.
and of course a tasty salad, hit the spot
After supper we had a very interesting sunset, over the top of our coach hitting the trees over by Rock Glen Waterfalls.
wonderful fall sunset
Tomorrow morning a trip to University Hospital in London for more test results on my blood work that we suspect (and hope) will be just fine then we can soon hit the road, after our Canadian Thanksgiving get togethers. In the next week.
Thanks for the visit and hope you had a fun productive day too.

  1. Lovely fall colors and a great job on those lawn chairs. I'm sure your Mom is happy that you are able to keep using them. Good luck at the DR's tomorrow.

  2. Sure glad I don't have to keep track of the days (or half days etc.) that I spend south of the border. I'll see how I feel 'bout mid February....

  5. Do you carry an extra freezer? I can't imagine all that sausage fitting in a RV fridge. Really like the chairs, can't find anything quite like them anymore.

  6. Wow those rules sound pretty strict. I really like grilled ripe peppers with just about everything.
