Where are we today ?

New Hamburg Ontario
Up early as usual and just putter around for a bit, coffees, computing, walkabouts and have our showers. We secured the coach, dumped and flushed our tanks, slide in, jacket up, hook up the car and we are leaving Rock Glen Resort for the last time this year about 9 o'clock. A two hour drive today, just taking our time on the back roads enjoying the scenery, bogeying along to the tunes of the 60's on our Sirius radio and all the fall colors that become more vibrant every day. And of course I just had to take more pictures to share, never get tired of looks at all these great fall colors.
We are at the farm now until we head south, 13 more days. With this being our Thanksgiving weekend, we have lots of stuff to do and people to see. A few doctors appointments, visit with family and friends and wrap up a few loose ends.
We got set up here at the farm, a bite for lunch then Suzie headed off for a doctors appointment. While she was gone I puttered around a bit, mowed some lawn, taking advantage of the warm sunny weather.
I even had a few minutes to finish a book I have been reading for a while, just not enough hours in the day. With Suzie back home we checked out in the house and with our team work Suzie, Sandy and I whipped up a very tasty supper of Scalloped potatoes, our bone-in-ham (minus the bone that I used to make our French Canadian Pea Soup the other day), green beans with fried onions in butter and a tossed salad.
of course Omer want to be where the action is too
Supper is all done for whenever Dennis is done chores, usually around 7 o'clock or so and then we had a feast. Of course there might just be some leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
Come and get it
Love the bone in ham, even after I took the bone out
We had perfect fall day, got to take our coach for a nice drive, to another location, enjoying the sunny fall weather, fresh air, exercise and cook up a tasty supper.
Thanks for the read. Hope your day was good too.
