Mon. Nov.1st 2010 Grove Oklahoma

Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

Overcast this morning but still nice and warm. We had our coffees and a walkabout then into town to Catfish John's for lunch, (we saw their add in the Resorts flyer). And just like the sign says " Nothin' Fancy, Just Good Food"

We both love catfish and have not had a good feast since last year at The Cock Of The Walk in  Nashville Tennesse. a much larger and much more expensive restaurant, mainly because they are in Nashville on Music Valley Drive. Well we each ordered the lunch special 5 pieces of farm raised catfish, 3 hush puppies (deep fried cornbread balls), french fries , coleslaw, baked beans, and a spicy green tomato relish for only $5.95 each. And were stuffed when done, no supper tonight.
excellent lunch
Well after this on to the Walmart Super Centre in town to walk off lunch, and pick up a few must have items like pop, beer, bananas, a new stainless steel travel mug for Suzie and a small cherry and small peach pie for .63 cents each, oh and some car wash and wax soap for our vehicles. Having sufficiently walked off lunch for a couple of hours, back home to the resort, just to putter about a bit with very dark overcast skies.

Will it rain or not, no rain drops on the windows but everytime I went out a few sprinkles on my face. No problemo just relax, read , compute and we even found a funny movie on tv. "Lost in America" a 1985 movie  about a yuppie couple in their 30's decide to quit their jobs to live as free spirits and cruise America in a Winnebago. Where did the day go?
