Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August. 2006
Another beautiful day 90f (33C) a bit of a breeze and full sun no clouds. One Rv left this morning and 3 more arrived so now 8 rigs here in a huge campground with 279 sites but we are all in one place. Very friendly bunch of new neighbours all from Mississippi with their charming southern drawl. We did enjoy a walkabout and reading in the shade for a while this afternoon and chatting with the neighbours. Then I prepared a nice supper of BBQ'd pigtails and ribs with mashed sweet potatoes, sauerkraut and veggies. This was the first time that I found pigtails since last fall in Ontario.
By 8:00 pm the wind had died down but it was still 80f (25c) and even warmer inside so we actually had to turn on our air conditioner for a few hours. something we never did all winter in Mexico where it was even warmer, no quite sure why it felt so different here. Then we watched a bit of tv and off to bed, ready to hit the road to Nashville in the morning.
