Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August. 2006
Nashville this morning was bright and sunny, we enjoyed the warmth and took our time getting ready to hit the road. We pulled out about 9:30 am and had a nice drive thru Tennessee hills into Kentucky, we stopped for fuel at a Flying "J" $2.79 gal. .(75 cents a litre Canadian). Passing thru Bowling Green we stopped at Gander Mountain, an outdoor store next to Camping World. We had the time and were not in a hurry, I found a new vest I was looking for. We arrived at Diamond Cavern Golf and RV Resort about noon (in Mammoth Cave National Park)and checked in setting up on our site. Nice and sunny, fresh spring air and not too busy. We puttered around in the afternoon, a walkabout and read for a while, chatted with a neighbour and checked some of the info on local attractions. Then supper tonight was garlic sausage, potatoes, rice and veggies then a bit of tv as the evening cooled down. Comforter back on our bed tonight for sure.
