Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August. 2006  This morning about 8:00 am was a very loud noise that sounded like a huge cannon being fired right next door, just a startling crack of thunder. This began our day that was overcast , drizzly off and on until late at night when it began to rain very heavy all night. We packed up things during the few sunny breaks, and chatted with a few neighbours here and there. And watched a few ladies get together and practice their painting skills. After lunch I took the water taxi to town and walked to the bank machine for some cash. I stopped at a fish market and picked up 2 kilos of Grande Shrimp to bring back with us. A happy hour with a bunch of neighbours and an Amazing casserole supper with our friends Larry and Marilyn (the Amazing Vanstones) as a going away dinner. Thanks guys. Back home to watch a movie then listen to the heavy rains all night. So may not be leaving thursday after all. Thursday Morning roads!
