Wed. Dec.2nd This morning was cold and windy, very foggy until about 8.30am. We were comfy at the Hilltop Rv Park in Fort Stockton but wanted get back on the road. 24 Hours after the snow storm the roads had cleared up and we headed out, passing areas that had been shut down and remains of the snow at the side of the road. The was a lot of areas where vehicles had slid off the road and probably some vehicles stranded. (somebody had made a large snowman in the median, in the middle of nowhere). We went thru El Paso and arrived at the New Mexico Welcome centre about 2.30pm. This is one of the nicest that we have ever seen. We have stayed the night here before and will again tonight, free internet as well. After a walk about exploring and stretching our legs, we relaxed for a bit and will have left over customized hamburger helper for supper and watch a bit of tv.
