A nice relaxing day again, just the kind we love .

       Another wonderful day here at Rock Glen Resort. cooler for sleeping and a comfortable day with a light south wind and very little humidity.
        After a few walkabouts around the park ( just over a mile) I whipped into Arkona checked our lottery ticket (no luck :<() picked up a few groceries and back home for a tasty light lunch.

     Then time for a nice long hot shower, right across from us and also time for a beard trim and haircut. I do most of it then my wonderful amazing hairdresser (Suzie) makes me look almost presentable. Well as good as it gets anyway.
     Back into my Kobo finding it really hard to put this book down, just keeps getting better.
    Now 3 pm time for Happy hour, Tucker came running over to jump up with Suzie.And she got her doggie fix. Gerry was not far behind.

     We chatted for a while had some laughs and shared more information, then Kim dropped in to share more stories with us. Always nice to see these guys. We know lots of Kims she is a new member here we met this spring.

    Shortly after happy hour,  time to start supper I whipped up our salad, preheat the Weber Q and grilled a couple of chicken Kabobs I picked up yesterday only 2 bucks each, good deal.

     After supper outside to wrap up this posting, and right back into my KOBO maybe finish this book tonight.

 Where have we been this summer?

Hard to beat a spring day like this one!

Where are we today ?

        Now this is one amazing day we are going to have. At 7 am it is already 65f (18c) I am in shorts and t shirt heading out for my first walkabout. Wow this is the weather we have been waiting for.
       Back to the coach by 8 am and began waxing some of it for about an hour, looks better the parts I did , but did not feel like getting my ladder out to do the higher spots, another day I can do that. Usually do the whole coach twice a year.
        Next was a quick grocery run for 30 minutes and enjoy some more wonderful weather, more walkabouts, ready to be soaking up the vitamin D.
        After a light lunch a nice long hot shower, shave and cut my hair and beard, outside  ( no mess inside), Suzie does the final trim and now she likes the way look again. Better than the scruffy old man, but now that old man is cleaned up a bit.
         Sitting outside in the sun it was actually too hot (87 f ( 30 c) in the shade, and way to windy to open our awning, 25 mph winds hitting it directly. No problem, just follow the shade around our coach.

then about 3:30 Happy hour evolves , with a few friends
just flapping our gums.

         Around 5 pm I headed in to whip up our salad and preheat out Weber Q to grill a couple of Mahi- Mahi burgers for supper. We picked this up in the states and really enjoy them.

         That was a very nice summer like day,hoping for more but the weather gods are saying rain tomorrow and cooler temps, (we will see). No problem we can enjoy each day as it comes, At least we are upright and breathing and living the lifestyle we enjoy
