Mostly sunny but windy day , sure can deal with this. And Bloggers friends stopped by.

Where are we today ?

Another great desert day. Had some amazing sunshine until about 2 pm but the SW winds with gusts to 30 mph sure did weird things with the temperature . Felt cool but was actually 62 f most of the day. And no rain as the weather gods had predicted. Now that makes for a pretty decent day.
My first chore today was to take our tow bar to the Roadmaster service area by the big tent to have it cleaned and inspected as we like to do every year.  Was there for 8 am and was all done in 15 minutes, no charge. looks like we good to go for another year.
Roadmaster service bay
Then a quick trip to Albertson's in Blythe California for a few items we cannot get in town here. home by 10 am. Missed our friends that dropped by Denis and Sandie, they back in town to have 2 more solar panels installed this morning at Discount solar. They will now have 8, they should be pretty good now, when the sun shines.
Back home the sun is shining and wonderful . but the wind gusts up to 30 mph were not fun. Batteries fully charge before noon and all is wonderful here
Got some wonderful reading done outside, protected from the wind in front of our coach. It was not cold just a cool wind.
Reinstalled our tow bar and now we happy and good to go again.
good to go again,
towing our car
This afternoon  while reading outside a couple of Blogger friends stopped by to say HI for a very short visit. Jim and Sandie, the Dixons we have not seen since last year at Bloggerfest. So nice to see them again such a super couple they are. Hope to see them again.
most of our day the sky
 looked like this
palo verde tree right beside us
No Happy Hour today outside (too windy) and for supper I choose to cook a couple chicken quesadillas inside. Just because I can. Stir fried the chicken breast and a few veggies, added to the tortillas with some shredded cheddar cheese and a side salad . Sure did the trick tonight. More leftovers again.
yup was tasty
Now another desert day, mostly sunny but still windy but no rain. The next few days look wonderful and we are ready for them. Even though it may be cool we don't have to deal with the cold and snow back home. We will take this anyway.
Hope your day was wonderful as well, Thanks for stoping by.

Where have we been this Winter ?

  1. Today was a much better weather day for us. Rain stopped and the sun came out. I remember how I hated windy days in our MH. It would sometime sound like the roof was blowing off. I hope you guys have sunny days and not so much wind the rest of the week.
    Another great meal☺!!

  2. No matter how warm the day is with the sun shining, if that wind is blowing like that it's still not fun. The good thing is you know better days are ahead. Enjoy yourselves.

    1. It is nice to get the tow bar checked out whenever we can by the people who built them. The quesadilla was delicious and nice treat.

  6. Good job on maintaining your tow bar. But then you are on top of maintaining everything on your RV, so many don't. Here's hoping that perfect weather conditions find their way to you ASAP.

  8. Luckily, we had no big winds in Yuma yesterday. Unfortunately, I was in the Jeep all day running around Yuma. At least there was no rain and the rest of the week is pure sunshine!
