Love our Canadian tire money buys 3 new tires for our car and an amazingly warm fall day.

Where are we today?
clic on a pic to enlarge it
This morning was another cool one but not freezing , about 44f (6c) Nice walkabout town about 7:30 am again so peaceful here in a small town. About 9 am I hoped in the car to a Canadian Tire store in Kitchener.
a foggy drive heading out of town
2 miles further clear skies
Have a issue with some tires on our car, but they were due. I purchased 2 tires and asked about one we bought last year. They checked it out and decided it was a defect. So got a 3rd one half price after the adjustment. Discount on the two we purchased, (they are on sale tomorrow and saved $10. on each tire. Total coat $167.00. for 3 tires.  Ended up I got 3 tires for "FREE". Well actually we had enough Canadian tire money saved that they were paid for and still have $4.00 dollars left to spend at Canadian tire. We accumulate  about $300.00 a year and manage to spend it for various things, so works great for us. Gotta love these bonus points.
Then back to Plattsville dropped the 2 tires at Pettigrew's Garage where Dale will finish off the work on Friday morning. Check the cars brakes and get us ready to head out on the 20th.
After a light lunch I hopped on the mower to mow some grass that needed done for about an hour. Then can relax on a very nice warm fall afternoon, shorts and t shirt, one of our last warm, sunny days. Really enjoying our e-readers.
a sunny warm afternoon
Now soon time to fire up our Weber Q to grill a nice pork tenderloin I had marinated, and some tender fresh asparagus to add to our salad.
tenderloin 145f internal temp is perfect
melt in your mouth
added some poultry stuffing
and sure hit the spot
of course leftover pork for lunches
What a wonderful fall day, I am still outside posting this at 8pm, probably the last time for a while now, gonna coo, down soon for a while.
Thanks for taking a peek today and hope y'all had a great day too.

    1. It is quite often thick in town here down close to the river, but clears up once out of town.

  2. Nice to get 'free' tires, George. I couldn't imagine how you could save up that much of their money but Bill explained the way you do it. We will soon pick up on some of these tricks!

  5. It is always nice when you can use points or rewards in order to pay for things that are needed, almost the same thing as "free"!

  9. We've had fog recently. I don't like it but it's better now than when it's colder and actually freezes on the road. Get out of there before it gets worse!

  10. Love that Canadian Tire money. We use a Canadian Tire Mastercard for our purchases there and it keeps track of our Canadian Tire money. I recently bought a new battery for the Honda and it came to $130 or so and the clerk asked if i wanted to use my stored up money. I said sure and it covered almost the full purchase!
