Monday is a day of rest right? it is for us.

Where are we today ?
Well we did it again, more awesome weather. Last night had to take the comforter off the bed and open windows with our fantastic fan running all night. No air conditioning thou, which is good, don't much like airconditioning.
Today up to 35 c (95f) and just loving it, a nice refreshing breeze from the south and some shade made it just perfect. Today nothing much to do and that is good, but have been having some annoying lower back and leg pain. So first thing into town to check out a Chiropractor whose sign I noticed the other day that says "Walk-ins welcome" just what I need. There for 9 am and was all adjusted and feeling so much better by 9:30, now I am brand new (until the next time).
Back home Suzie had the laundry all sorted for me to take to the resort's nice laundry room. Here I got two loads washed and dried, in about 45 minutes and was able to read a bit of my book in the meantime. Total cost $4.00 can you beat that?
Now a quick bite for lunch, another walkabout and relax in the shade with our books for a wonderful afternoon. New neighbors pulled in next to us from Ontario (near Ottawa) chatted with them for a while until they had company drop in for a visit.
Even had some wildlife drop by too, lotsa Gechos and even the four Sandhill Cranes all who seem to regulars here in this area.

Then before it gets dark fire up our Weber to grill a couple garlic sausage from home add some sauerkraut, Alfredo noodles with veggies and a potato bun for a tasty quick supper.
Weber Q 100 at work
yep hit the spot
Supper done a short walkabout then lets call it a night, still quite warm, but sure beats the alternative.
Thanks for the read and if you are in the area drop by, anytime, we could be here or not depends on our mood and the day,  here for another week then movin' on.

  1. Looks like a great place to be. It sure beats shoveling snow.

  2. Temperature kept dropping here all day. Predictions are the ground could be a bit white tomorrow in South West Ontario. Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

    1. Well I could tell you about the road noise that might bother some people, but we don't care.

  7. The picture of the Sandhill cranes had me snickering, it looks pretty funny to see them walking down the road like that. Gotta love that weather for sure! It is pretty nice here during the day, nights are cool but that's fine, nice snuggling weather.
