Almost spring time here, much warmer too. At least we had lotsa sunshine but a cool NW wind. No matter, shorts and t-shirts is the dress code for me. Not that bad !
Yesterday we had an issue with our 25 Plus year old lawn chair, it just did big dive ! Time to pack it in.

I have repaired these chairs for a few years but after 25 years no longer possible,
Then time for "happy hour". few friends stopped by and chat for  while. More fun times.

Tonight I am cooking a boneless skinless Wild turkey Breast that our  good friend  Rob had killed and cleaned for us. I had thawed and marinated it our in our fridge for more than 24 hours.Ready to go!

  1. LOL, the chair was very much on its way out so no big deal.
Took me a year to get the effects of the gym and healthy eating lifestyle.

  2. Well, after 25 years of service, that chair owes you nothing.
    As usual, dinner looks great!

  3. Your meal looks delicious! I love the Look! oven bags, they are easy to use and the meals I make with them always turn out moist, tender and tasty. You have a lovely blog. Warm greetings from Montreal...happy to be a Canadian. :)

  4. Only 25 years out of that chair? You should buy quality products so they'd last longer... :cD

  5. Oh you and Bill have like minds.... we don't replace anything he can fix.... and especially when we're here in Ohio with all his "spare parts". (Okay, it's a junk yard to me).... But 25 years is darned good service... Bill & I have been together 34 years... hope I last a bit longer ;-)

    1. If it can be fixed I will find a way. Not bad for the chair , But I did keep all the seat parts that I can use on another frame.

  6. I understand the shorts and t-shirts no matter the weather. Well, at least the shorts because that's what our son lives in when he can.

  7. I guess you got the most out of that 25-year-old chair. Time to retire it. Sometimes it's just amazing to see how long we can hold on to certain things.
