A very nice last sunny day here, was windy but found shelter and enjoyed the sunshine and warmth.

 Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Another mild night for sleep 50 F at 5 am and we had no more rain ! Wonderful. As the sun rose and warmed up the desert, I headed out for my first walkabout,  2 miles today enjoying the fresh smells of a rain washed desert and all the greenery that happens because of it.
another nice desert sunrise
Enjoying my morning walks here with this lush desert growth this year, the best we have ever seen.
everything is so green!
Even my shadow enjoyed it
Shortly after 9 am Suzie wanted to take a drive down the road to The BLM Gunsight Wash a couple of miles south of here, just to look around check for more flowers and free range cattle that we saw when we were there. No more blooms and did not spot any cattle this time either.
Gunsight Wash
Then back home we enjoyed a tasty light lunch and I took another walk and a  drive around here for my last long look. Then stored our weber Q, check the oil on the coach and tire pressures before we head out in the morning. Our plan is overnight at Casino Del Sol in Tucson (if we can) and into Benson Friday morning to service our coach and our car, they are both due. Then further East to New Mexico.
Then enjoyed a wonderful warm sunny afternoon temps 65 F enjoying our reading outside protected by the wind in front on our coach. What another perfect desert day. We are sure going to miss this area, the weather and desert views.
these sunny skies all day
love it
Not far from us is a garbage  dumpster and a recycle for aluminum cans. Nice to see they do that here.
this propane tank for the washroom and showers here
this is number 3 of the 5 restrooms they have here
not fancy but clean
over view this afternoon
the mud is drying up very quickly
cool shadows in the hills around us
love these skies here so wonderful
Soon time to whip up supper. Tonight a stir fry with some veggies, spices etc.. ground turkey and the rest of our  Rice A Roni.  Yummy it was, and now we have a bit more leftovers just enough more a light lunch for me.
very tasty it was

Dishes done and relaxing for a bit , and our neighbour plays taps again, 6:30 pm so I whipped outside to catch our last sunset here this spring. Gotta get back on the road again in the morning making our way back home. Heck gonna miss the playing of taps every night at sunset, maybe we will run into him again.
our last desert sunset here in Why and
did not disappoint us.
That was our last day after 2 weeks enjoying this wonderful southwest desert weather and scenery. But The hitch itch has set in gotta move on down the road again and slowly make our way back to cold Ontario weather. But get to visit with more family , the grands and friends.
Thanks for taking the time to drop for in a peek to see what we are up to.

    1. It usually is ok to park there as long as there is no concerts. Things do dry pretty quick here in the desert.

  3. Safe travels, if the casino is packed a couple miles down the road at Camino de oesta at the light turn right and the original casino is down that road and they also have RV Parking and it is still free. There is a new Circle K on the left side Valencia and the old one on the south side corner which is boarded up that would be your right turn to the old but still in use casino. But you should be fine at the new one

  5. Just when the weather is going to be nice, you are leaving!! At least you will get a couple of good days in. Everything is truly green and beautiful. Sunshine today should help dry things up a bit. Safe travels.
