A sunny windy day, Happy hour fun with friends, yes this is still good.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it

Some what milder last night 52 F at 5 am after a great nights sleep. Then with the sun about to rise I headed out for a nice walkabout 2.5 miles before the predicted winds arrived. Enjoying the morning sunrise along the way.
the sun is making an attempt
Then shortly after 10 am our friends Kim and Ken were packing up to head on down the road. After a bunch of hugs and see ya laters they headed on down the road.
hugs and see ya laters
so much fun we have had
Kim and Ken on the road again, safe travels guys
Back home Suzie said we gonna need some water , so I grabbed our containers and headed to the water fill stations 2 times and added 30 gallons to our fresh water tank with our and 12 v water pump.
old water pump transfers water
A little later we enjoyed our light lunch, then I took a drive about town to check out a few junk vendors to see if there was any new junk.  Lots of it but really nothing that caught my eye, we still have enough usable junk in our home.
cool chairs
nice teeter totters
Neet bar stools
lotsa junk
Down main street another vendor had some nice sculptures I checked out. again nothing we needed.
Now back home to putter around for a while, read a bit outside then time for happy hour. And because of the high SE wind gusts to 25 mph even though our thermometer read 70 F in the shade it was not a nice day to sit outside, we were invited into Tom and Deb's Stinger B. Only 6 of us left here and so that is doable.
love these dest skies
Inside their coach  was very comfortable then fellow bloggers Rick and Kathy arrived still enough room so inside they came, yes we shared stories and exchanged tips with each other and had a fun happy hour or 2 with everyone.
Soon time for us to head on home just after 5 pm whip up our supper. Enjoying a wonderful sunset as well.
Another great desert sunset as supper was cooking and our  shake and bake pork c widhops baking in the oven, Much to windy too cook cook outside .
a treat we have not had for  very long time
Just another fun desert day here in the southwest , friends stopping by and another great ahoy hour.
Glad that you dropped in  for a visit  and I just know you enjoyed a great days well.

  1. I sure loved all that junk art, recycling instead of landfills and it's all great fun things.

  2. Cool junk! I like the sun flowers, maybe next time. Nice sunrise/sunset pictures under the motion of the clouds.
Did you plan the pork chops for the 'Year of the Pig'? Perfect timing.

  3. We were looking at some yard art and Mexican imports today as well, which is sold here around the corner on Hwy 90. Always interesting, but like you said, not really needed. Your sky pictures looked dramatic with those clouds. That Stinger B is really spacious and I think it has more seating than my living room ;-)

  5. It was nice to be able to meet Kim and Ken; they are a nice couple.
After looking at your pictures we will not have to visit those vendors. Thanks for sharing.
Even though we had the sun all day and the clouds were beautiful that wind was and still is pretty "wicked" glad we had room inside for everyone to sit and not be blown away. It was a good Happy Hour.

    1. Yes Nancy their stuff is very pricey, probably why they don't sell much.

  7. We are glad to have met and chatted with Ken and Kim, looking forward to seeing them down the road sometime. I seem to have no desire to visit those vendors as I can't think of anything I need right now. Beautiful days, but wish there wasn't so much wind. Happy Hour is always fun with everyone!
